Since 1977, Montessori Day School of Brooklyn has been committed to creating an inclusive preschool environment for children and families. At MDS, we value every member of our school community. We welcome families of every religion, ethnicity, family structure, gender, learning style, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. We work to ensure that our school community is as richly diverse as the city we live in.
Our diversity committee is dedicated to social justice and equity for our children, families, and staff. Our tuition assistance program provides access to an MDS education for all children.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion will evolve and grow with every school year. The one mainstay will always be our focus on equality and justice for all.
