Your First Step in the MDS Journey
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open! Please know that the application fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee that your child will receive placement at MDS.
To apply please complete the application and be sure to specify the schedule option for your child. See our Enrollment Options for more details. Applications are available via TADS.

TADS refers to children as “toddlers” and “primary” students. Toddlers are 2 when they begin program. Primary students are 3, 4, and 5 years old.

If you are interested in applying for Tuition Assistance, we use an outside company, Clarity, to receive and evaluate financial information. Clarity provides a committee of MDS staff and board members with financial need information that then determines eligibility. All applications are kept strictly confidential.

To get started, please go to the **Clarity Application** and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $65 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

The deadline for Admissions Applications is December 31, 2025, and the deadline for Tuition Assistance applications is December 13, 2025.
